Reactive cement-based hardeners, commonly referred to as concrete sealers and hardeners, concrete penetrating crystallizers, cement-based strength enhancers, and agents for treating dusting on cement floors. It penetrates into the concrete through the capillary pores of the cement-based surface layer, where it chemically reacts with ettringite to form hard crystalline structures similar to those found in hardened cement paste. At the same time, it activates unhydrated cement particles within the concrete, promoting further hydration and consolidating the concrete into a robust monolithic structure. This process also seals the internal capillary pores, enhancing the concrete’s strength and density, thereby improving its various physical properties—resulting in enhanced impermeability, wear resistance, hardness, slip resistance, acid–alkali corrosion resistance, a glossy, dust-free finish that is easy to clean, and an overall aesthetic resembling marble. The service life of this treatment matches that of the concrete itself.
